smoked salmon spread

Ingredients:


  • 4 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • 4 oz sliced smoked salmon, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers, chopped


Method:


Mix all the ingredients together. Season with freshly ground black pepper and sea salt.


To Serve:


  • Cucumber rounds, sliced 1/2 inch thick
  • salmon roe
  • capers
  • dill


This spread will also be wonderful served on homemade crostini. Slice a baguette into 1/4 inch thick slices. Brush both sides with olive oil.


Arrange on a large baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F until golden. Turn once during baking.
